So, we’re grateful when customers come to us with a new challenge, such as this year when we were asked to clean Independence’s Reflection Pond.
Independence Community is a valued client, and when they struggled with other companies to get their Reflection Pond clean, we decided to take on the challenge. The Reflection Pond stands at the community’s entrance and is a stunning statement piece, welcoming residents and visitors to this beautiful neighborhood, so keeping it clean and pristine is important. It was a new and different job for us, but we worked with the community to find a new custom solution.
To clean the 512 foot long pond, we first figured out a way to safely drain the pond. Then we combined a high pressure wash, followed immediately by the use of air to blast the waste, algae, and other bits out of the pond. We did all of this without using any chemicals, and were able to wash, rinse, and dry the bottom of the pond. Finally, we used our pressure washing rigs to clean all the sidewalks and pathways in Independence to keep the entire community in tip-top shape. Our pressure washing rigs can be adjusted up to 6 feet wide, allowing them to get a single clean pass instead of a vacuum style pressure washer that needs to go back and forth doing multiple stripes. No stripes, no streaks.
